Norm is the best real estate agent in Lake County and I highly recommend him. He is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. He understands his clients' goals and gives practical advice to help reach them. He is one of the rare agents who works for YOU, not for himself. When I was looking for a house in Clearlake, Norm spent the day driving me around town showing me houses. He explained the pros and cons of manufactured vs stick built houses, owner financing vs bank loans, this location vs that location, etc. He found me the perfect house, and I paid 30% less than the asking price for it. Years later, when I was looking to sell the house, I hired Norm again. Again he gave lots of practical advice to help me make as much money as possible. He helped me to avoid getting a costly 433 foundation under my house, which my house didn't need, but I might have had to pay for one anyways if it wasn't for Norm's strategy. He told me what to fix around my house before listing it to increase the selling value. He even knows enough about handyman work that he was able to tell me when a certain contractor didn't know the proper way to fix something. He listed my house for 50% more than the other agents who were trying to make a quick sale for their own goals. But Norm was working for ME, so I sold the house for 35% more than what any other agent was willing to list it for. After I accepted the offer, Norm navigated me through the escrow process, and when the other agent caused delays, Norm pushed to correct things and keep things moving, and the escrow closed on time. Norm is the only agent that I would consider hiring in Lake County, and I will probably stay in contact with him in case I need his advice, even now that I've moved out of Lake County.
